Why does everyone want cheap printers?

I am usually the one answering printer questions in here, but I figured I would ask one. Do you not understand that cheap=crap. It means you will be dumping money into tiny $40 ink cartridges that only give you 300 pages. It means you're print quality will suffer. It means you will probalby be buying another "cheap" printer in less than a year. Buy at least a $100 printer. Better yet buy a laser printer, it will last longer and cost less to run!
