Iv spilt water on my iphone 3gs and it seems to be broken?

Last week i got an iPhone 3gs for my 13th birthday. I spilt some ink on it so i rushed to the bathrooms to wipe it off but i got water all over it. it was fine for the first hour then suddenly the screen got way darker and my calls wont work and neither will my music. Does anybody know what i could do?
