I just got a tattoo two weeks ago and it has faded bad. My question is does the swimming pool make it fade?

Also, when I got my tattoo which isn't the first time I have had this one worked on ~ It itches like crazy and I am wondering if I maybe allergic to the ink because my foot stays swollen for about a week until all the itching is gone.
