Can you put a strap on a airsoft thompson 1928 and if so how?

i just got a airsoft thompson and sence its made of metal its pretty heavy and i have a kinda cheap but still good strap that came with another gun. but it only has a thing to clip it on on the stock and i have no clue were to put the other end so idk if you can even put one on
